I kinda think its funny that some people think horribly inconsistent teams like UNI and Illinois State are all of a sudden going to go on 7 game winning streaks.

jackwagon wrote:UNI will go down tonight and we'll finally stop hearing about at larges or conference titles. Fellas you are 7-6!!! Why so confident?????? I love Jake as a coach and UNI could win the valley tourney but god damn

lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololol

UNI is on a four game winning streak with the following remaining the schedule:

@Drake (9th)
@MSU (8th)
Denver (RPI 109)
@SIU (10th)
ISUred (5th)

CU has lost 3 in a row with the following remaining schedule:

@Evansville (T-5th)
SIU (10th)
@St Mary's (RPI 49)
@Bradley (7th)
WSU (1st)

WSU has lost 3 of its last 5 games with the following schedule:

@ISUred (5th)
@ISUblue (T-2nd)
Detroit (RPI 74)
Evansville (T-5th)
@CU (T-2nd)

Take off all the colored glasses and tell me what team is likely to finish the strongest.

Hmmmmmm.....let me think. :huh:

I think all the smart money goes toward UNI winning the regular season title and the tournament title, and the Valley becomes a 1-bid league with all its hopes and dreams resting on UNI going to the NCAA Tournament. It IS the best we can do.

And going into those game who was most likely to lose 3 straight or win 4 straight?

UNI is 2-4 in the league on the road this year, there is no such thing as an easy road win in the Valley, that's why there isn't a SINGLE team in the MVC better than .500 in the league on the road. And the only team even at .500 on the road is WSU.

One could also say that WSU and CU have had their slump and are ready to storm to the finish line and that UNI is bound to run out of steam at some point.

I predict UNI will be favored in all its remaining games.

I predict UNI will have a better record over its last five games than CU or WSU.

Care to make a prediction or are you one of those who only points out when others are wrong and doesn't have the balls to make their own prediction?

I predict that UNI will not win the Valley and will be just outside of the NCAA at-large bubble.

Wichita/ISUb next week will have huge MVC implications. The Trees are 11-1 at home with the only loss to N. Mexico in OT. Its unbelievable but ISUb still controls their destiny. Gonna be a crazy finish.

Help me out here......Doesn't Creighton and INDY State control their destiny to be champs too?

If either the Jays or Trees win out, they would be 14-5, and in the process of winning out, they would have beating WSU. Which would potentially knock them to 14-5 as well.

So don't all 3 control their destiny to atleast be co-champs?

Well my prediction on CU winning by 7 was quite incorrect, maybe i meant lose by 7, who knows. Good win for UNI. . . This league is a cluster f**k this year. I know the Valley likes to beat up on each other every year but it seems like even more so this year. Should be an interesting final stretch of the season. Go SHOX

If both CU and ISUB win out, they are co-champs and WSU is 1 game back.
