I mean, surely Creighton can replace four of their starters every year and still challenge for the Valley championship, right?

If WSU can do it, surely Creighton, the class of the Valley's history, should have no problem replacing just one little player.

I was merely trying to point out the fallacy of telling a WSU not to be a DB, or the WSU fan base could get a bad reputation. That's like telling someone not to open the barn door or the cow might get out when there is no cow.

Well, we did it last year and that turned out pretty well.

I think we'll be just fine. Heck I can't even recall the last time we were in the play-in game in St Louis it was so long ago.

Then if you start reading the MVC boards wow what a difference. They really hate CU. sCUm is the common name. We did not win the game, they lost it. UNI was probably the one that surprised me the most. Worse than WSU's board. Lot of hate out there.

There has been a lot of hate for Creighton for a long time. Thats part of being consistently at or near the top for years and years. It goes back to the SIU student section all wearing "I H8 Cr8ton" shirts to St. Louis even though there was 8 other teams there besides Creighton. I believe this started maybe 2001-2002 season. UNI hates us cause we stole Doug from them, and also we currently have the most successful coach UNI has ever had, who left UNI to go to Iowa State. Wichita hates us cause we get more National media attention then them since we have been good for longer. Unfortunately in this world these days, if your hated, it usually means your doing something right. Sounds backwards, but its a corrupted world.
