Wrong.

LOLOLOLOL at Mac being the most successful coach in our history, perhaps you missed that Jake is already 3rd all time in wins and there was that Sweet 16 thing in 2010.

It goes back to the SIU student section all wearing "I H8 Cr8ton" shirts to St. Louis even though there was 8 other teams there besides Creighton. I believe this started maybe 2001-2002 season. UNI hates us cause we stole Doug from them, and also we currently have the most successful coach UNI has ever had, who left UNI to go to Iowa State. Wichita hates us cause we get more National media attention then them since we have been good for longer. Unfortunately in this world these days, if your hated, it usually means your doing something right. Sounds backwards, but its a corrupted world.

We should stop being so mean
Hey, look what I found five seconds into reading the Creighton forum:blueblood wrote:Then if you start reading the MVC boards wow what a difference. They really hate CU. CU is the common name. We did not win the game, they lost it. UNI was probably the one that surprised me the most. Worse than WSU's board. Lot of hate out there.
We should stop being so mean.
Deanthonybowden wrote:Haha. I wasnt complaining, you guys are so touchy. I really don't mind being hated i was just pointing some things out. And I don't always have time to look up all the stats, maybe Jake is a better coach I dont really know. But Jake inherited a program that was already built by Greg, so the fact that he has more wins and all isn't everything. Didn't Greg inherit a below average UNI team and turn them into a solid team for quite a few years. When looking at a coach its not so much how many wins they've had etc. but its more about where the program was when they got the job, and where it is when they leave it behind.
So i looked it up. Greg inherited a program that had finished below .500 for the 4 years prior to his arrival, including the year before he took over as coach, uni finished with a 7-24 record. He left the program having led UNI to 3 consecutive NCAA appearances. Quite the turnaround. Jake inherited a program that had made the prior 3 NCAA tournaments. His last 3 seasons have resulted in a CIT berth, an NIT berth, and this season, probably an NIT berth. Turns out I was right after all. The facts support my argument. Jake may have had as much success as Greg, but he inherited a program greg built. Greg had just as much success as Jake even though he inherited a very poor program. And to the Bluejay who called me out, I hope your happy I took the time to back up my statement with facts. Appreciate the coach you have, he is a solid coach.
