I think some people are seriously undervaluing how soft the bubble is this year.

With that said, I wouldn't leave it to a group of 58-year old selection hacks to decide your inclusion. The safe way would be to make it to the Final in St. Louis.

Agree with most of these. Really its hard to say cause it depends on how many upsets there are in conference tourneys, and how the bubble teams do here on out. Say there is a whole bunch of upsets in conference tourneys, then the loser would have to get to the championship game. Say there isn't many upset tourney winners-----then maybe just one more win for either of us and were in, even with 2 more losses. But, I would say for Creighton, lose the next 2 games .....and I dont see us getting in. Wichita may have a SMALL small chance to be in already nomatter what, but I would not feel good about it if they lose the next two. I believe both could do some damage in the NCAA's if we can get there,

I agree, it looks very lopsided. Not to take away from your point that Colt was obviously very important to the win, but it is baffling that WSU lost the game. WSU took 7 more shots, 5 more threes, 6 more free throws, had 11 more O rebounds, 13 more rebounds overall, 2 fewer assists, 7 more steals, 3 more blocks, 1 more turnover and 1 less foul... And lost. If I hadn't seen the score and looked only at the box I would have said that WSU won the game. I know that shooting percentage is lost in the numbers I looked at, but I would feel very fortunate as an Aces fan.

I only watched the last 4 mins of the game, but it looked like whoever won should feel lucky. Evansville took some 3rd grade shots falling away from the basket when they probably should have been attacking. And WSU couldn't make a clutch shot. It also looks like WSU has the same problem as CU, neither one has a go to out of bounds play under the basket. Both teams look lost.

Probably put this in the wrong thread but the lopsided thing is what made me post it.

That being said I would like to thank Evansville for your win. I have been hoping that the title would be won or lost on the last game of the season. Fans thrive on scripts like this one.

Lose the next two and I'd still put either team at 75% in.

I haven't looked it up yet, but I bet 13-5 will be the worst record for a conference champ in many, many years.

During the prior 16 years of the current conference membership, the worst record for the regular season champ was 13-5 and that was Evansville in the 1998-99 season

Well ladies and gents. . . It's been one hell of a conference season, ups and downs that teams didn't expect and with all that, it comes down to this final game. . . First off i think if CU wins on Saturday they're a for sure lock for the tourney, WSU loses i think we need to win at least one in St.Louis. WSU wins on Saturday we're a lock, CU loses i think they'll need to at least get one victory and MAYBE to the championship in St.Louis.

The game on Saturday should have a lot of eyes on it through out the country, regular basketball fans, valley fans, analysts and i'm sure members of the selection committee. My guess for how the last two games were going to turn out was like this: WSU wins at home, CU wins at Bradley. . . Last game CU wins because WSU doesn't really show up. Little nervous for this Saturday now considering how well CU played and how WSU just didn't show up on the offensive side again.

I think Saturday will go one of two ways: CU comes out and just takes it to WSU like we did last year in Omaha and we get ran out of the gym, not a good impression to give the country going in to the last few weeks before selection Sunday. Or WSU's D shows up strong and we hit some shots, CU doesn't have a great day of shooting and WSU sneaks out a closeeeeee victory.

Not for sure how much sleep i'll get Friday night, going to be a nerve racking Saturday morning leading up to the game. LET'S GO SHOX!

I think this game will be somewhat dictated by referee style. If they let the teams play, advantage Shockers as they will play rough in the paint grabbing boards. If they call it tight and not allow bumping and hand checks, advantage Creighton.

I'll be making the drive from Wichita to watch the game. MapQuest says the drive is 4 hours and 50 minutes, so I'll be waking up early. What are some good places to eat near the stadium and how far away should I expect to park?

DJs Dugout- on the same corner of the CLINK. Sports bar with about 1,000 tvs. Typical bar food, good beer prices. Good place to go before the game, get there early.

Goodnights Pizza- I'm no fan of this place, but people like it. I think its over priced.

Old Mattress Factory- Similar to DJs, less TVs, better food. It gets packed, get there early.

about 20 other places to grab food in the old market. longer walk, no true sports place.

if you are willing to pay for parking, you won't have trouble finding a spot within close walking distance.
