I haven't paid enough attention to Colt's defense, IF he is also an outstanding defensive player than I could agree that maybe Colt is deserving of the palyer of the year. If he is a decent, but not great defensive player, than I think Doug's offense is enough to qualify him as the league's best player. What kind of defender is Colt? Opinions?

Colt is a very good basketball player, but a greater student and individual. He is truly a Champion in things that matter the most in life not just at a children's game.
Also, after all these years in the MVC you think you would know it is UE , not knowing that makes me question your basketball knowledge.

I do hope Colt plays well in the tourney, and that he gets some recognition outside of the conference....he has certainly earned it.

I understand that before today there might be some people who thought it was debatable, but really today settled it. And he rebounded real good today too. And it wasn't like we were feeding him on backdoor cuts and just setting screens all day for him. many, maybe even most, of his points were all him just taking one of the best defenders in the league to the rack, and with help defense behind him. It was pretty incredible if u didnt get the chance to watch the game. I hope he is back next year.
