this thread is just comical. i will give you points for entertainment value. However, the last time I checked Creighton was in the Missouri Valley Conference for the 2012-2013 basketball season, and the best player in this conference during the 2012-2013 season is Doug. Its not even a close race.

Put all personal opinion aside even. Do you think the MVC would embarrass themselves by not voting a national player of the year candidate as their conference player of the year? Ya, that would look like a classy and competent league a school would want to join if the rumors are true and creighton leaves.

give me a break. Doug is the player of the year. He deserves it. even if he didn't, he would still get it.

Doug should be player of the year, no question. Just find it disrespectful for others to degrade a player and his University for not being "champions" in his eyes. Also, CU, (see, I know the difference) would not be "champions" without the 2 losses UE handed Wichita St.
