I remember, on the broadcast, seeing Carmichael fall into the UNI cheerleaders while trying to save a ball in the 2nd half, and after he got back up he started yelling what appeared to be some choice and unkind words. Apparently they didn't make as nice of pillows as he would've liked. Could've have been yelling at the students close behind but it appeared as though he was looking down at the sitting cheerleaders.

Not sure what occurred but Carmichael seemed a bit overzealous about cheerleaders not catching him...or at least being too low for a karate kick to keep his balance ;)

Well I would like to know if he meant mouthing as in not saying anything or mouthing as in "mouthing off". You can certainly understand my confusion. Was this something you saw on the telecast or were you at the game? Because I don't remember seeing anything on the TV broadcast. I'm not saying whether it happened or not, while I do doubt it. I'm just wondering what the situation was.

You are just proving what happens between fan bases in these situations. A fan allegedly witnessed your coach and star player mouthing, bickering, shouting, exchanging recipes, or whatever to an individual or a group. They might have been responding to an awful comment, or responding to someone in their own posse for crying out laud. Your question about what was said will never be answered. I think what people find ironic is that you appear defensive about a coach and player, representing the classiest school in the Valley, potentially interacting negatively with an opponents fan base. Ironic because 99% of your fan base just assumed coach Marshall was unprovoked in a similar situation at your place. Take a step back and think about how this looks.

Yep....could that with the UNI students chanting Kung Fu, I believe, at him much of the game. When he got up from the cheerleader section he made it a point to get up and look right at the UNI student section and yell at them.

Play continued and Muller started yelling at the students..walking from the scorers table to the far side of the bench by the students to point and yell.

Shortly after Jackie was taken out of the game and both he and Muller, along with an assistant coach, walked towards the students continuing to point and yell at them.

Not sure what was said, but it didn't look like they were asking for nice places to eat after the game.

Seems to be a theme of ISU not being able to keep their heads developing late in the season

Not allegedly witnessed...it happened.

Let's put it this way...there was no cops there before the incident. After 2 CFPD officers were placed right behind the ISU bench.....yet not by the students.

I don't understand why you're trying to propel this to being some big blowup about the class of players, coaches, and fans. It seems to me you're trying to instigate another big argument. I have not commented on whether it happened or not. I simply asked what happened. I am not trying to say anybody is lying or anything like that. I am simply asking. I do believe though, that if Muller and/or Carmichael were yelling at the students, it was almost definitely in response to something very vulgar or disrespectful. Obviously I would like to believe that my team would not stoop to that level. But when you're getting homered as bad as we were in that game, I can imagine that emotions were running high on our end. Either way, I would want to hear from someone that was at the game to possibly give some unbiased insight into what actually took place.

That doesn't tell me much. All that says to me is that someone from UNI requested that police be put behind the bench.

The yelling didn't start until after Jackie ran over our cheerleaders, took offense to the fact that the female UNI cheerleaders didn't help him get up, turned and looked at them/the students and started yelling at them.

The students yelled back and Muller got involved.

I usually believe it takes 2 to get a situation like that, but from everything I saw it was started by Jackie/Muller

I have a really hard time believing that Jackie was just yelling at the cheerleaders for no reason. I'd be willing to bet that one of them made a vulgar comment or something. Either way I don't approve of yelling at the students. But in no way do I believe it was unprovoked.

The theme that seems to be developing is now multiple fan bases have picked up several instances of Jackie Chan doing negative things and each time Redbird fan can't fathom the notion of it being true.

I'm sorry that you don't know Jackie like ISU fans do. But these accusations are completely out of character for him. Which is why we have a hard time believing them. I'm not specifically saying that he didn't do it, but I'm just saying that it's hard for me to believe. So I am obviously biased and so are the UNI and WSU fans. It's hard to find out the actual facts on here without a great amount of bias. That is not to say that makes the claims invalid, it is just hard to tell what is fact and what is embelishment.
