UNI's Sinkfield runs 4.19

Postby MVCfans » March 5th, 2013, 7:32 pm

Northern Iowa receiver Terrell Sinkfield reportedly ran the 40-yard dash in 4.19 seconds at a pro day held Monday at the University of Minnesota.

The blazing time came in his second attempt at the 40 and was so fast that he was asked to run a third time, something none of the other prospects who participated in the pro day was asked to do, according to FoxSportsNorth.com. Sinkfield reportedly stumbled on the third attempt but still ran a 4.44.

Yeah, but he didn't play real football, so this doesn't count, right?

I'm assuming it was hand timed. That seems really absurd. Good for the kid though. I'm sure somebody will go crazy and pick him entirely because of it.

Adding in the fact that his jumping drills would've placed him at the top of the combine for his position as well. Get the guy an NFL caliber arm and I'd like to see what he can do. Hope he just stays out of trouble
[Insert snappy comeback]
