Shox Baker Transferring To Creighton?

Is that what I heard the announcers say during the CBS broadcast?

no, brando said he looked like he fit the mold of a CU player, meaning that he looks like he could compete in suburban horse and has good basketball iq.

he is not transferring to cu as far as i know but maybe he wants to have a shot to play in a major conference if cu gets an invite?

No, Brando said Baker is the type of player who could play for Creighton. Didn't sound good and he tried to backtrack but just kept digging more of a hole.

Boy, CU fans are getting greedy.

Fortunately, Baker isn't going ANYWHERE! He redshirted his freshman year and paid his own way that year. He is from Kansas, so I don't see any reason he would leave. You had an announcer making stupid statements to fill airtime.

I think what you are trying to say is Baker is interested in playing for a team that has a "good" chance of playing in the "major" post season tournament for the next three years. Not sure CU is a contender in the "good" column after this year...just sayin!!!

maybe he has always dreamed of playing a non-NIT game at the most famous arena in the world, MSG.
Or, perhaps, he would rather compete, if and when CU leaves that is, against Nova, MU, G'Town, X, and Butler on a regular basis rather than get swept by the "Evansville of the Missouri Valley"

It was an ignorant comment and when he tried to backtrack it was even worse. Sometimes people say stupid things, sometimes it's best to act as though it wasn't even said and move on. He on the other hand dug a little deeper.
