Creighton vs Duke - 8:40pm TBS

Call me crazy but I think Creighton will pull this off. After what my Shocks did tonight, I know the Valley is for real. Creighton quite frankly owned us this year, and I certainly know that the near comeback in the MVC championship and the 7 point comeback win against ISUr helped us do what we did tonight. Duke won't be easy but if Creighton can bring their A+ game they will win, I don't care what Duke does.

BTW, we held Gonzaga to 35% shooting tonight; that shows how incredible of an accomplishment it was for CU to shoot 72% in Omaha.

I can no longer use the excuse that Cincy also once upon a day left the Valley, but Gibbs, GE, and those guys are Valley guys so I will be routing nearly as hard as I did for us tonight.

Get it done CU!

I think it is a little strange that CU vs Duke is the only game in the MW that hasn't been played. I can't say that I have kept stats on this but it seems like 3 out of the four teams advancing earlier than the last team would stand to have an advantage. Two of them know who they are playing already, one knows they are already there, and the last one doesn't know if/who they are playing. Bad for whoever comes out of that game.

I really want CU to win this game. Would be awesome to have two valley teams in the S16.

But I have a premonition of a hose job coming. I hope I'm wrong. Score 81-79.

Is it CU's day to carry the MVC flag for the valley in the tourney. I am giving CU a 68% chance on winning this game. I am not being an MVC homer, they really are the better team.

Tougher Defensive team wins. Whoever can make the other put it on the deck and not give up open jumpers will move on. Come on jays give us one last farewell gift. Put two valley teams in the S16!

Did you guys watch the Dukes play the other day? They've got good perimeter defensive pressure. Jays don't fare as well in that scenario. I'm glad they got Cincy first because they have better defensive perimeter pressure. Dukies can score though.
