MVC Tourney Success

When was the last time a school from the Valley was in the Elite 8? I know we have had several Sweet 16s and near misses on the Elite 8, but I can't remember a Valley team making the Elite 8. This is such an oppurtunity for the Shocks playing La Salle. All of the near misses, George Mason as an 11, UNI playing poorly vs Michigan St., SIU's missed layup against Kansas, it is time we finally break through and get one.

I personally think our match up is so good, I will be heart broken if it doesn't happen. Even though La Salle reminds me of SIU, only with much more speed and talent, and we all know how we've struggled against them this year.

1981. WSU 66 - Kansas 65 got WSU into the E8.
