I think the Saturday at the sprint might happen soon. WSU vs KU, MSU vs MU, CU vs NLincoln. Would be a big event and mutually beneficial for all programs. Including the big boys.

Not going to happen. Bill Self I saw on the news last night congratulating WSU and specifically said that it doesn't mean he will play WSU, so don't even ask.

Considering that we will lose some key personnel and possibly Doug too, I imagine any open nonconference dates will be filled with teams that we can develop players against.

Creighton vs. MVC teams for home and home in the future:

ISUb, ISUr, UE, BU, MSU, no rivalry, no connection, no chance
SIU, UNI, McD likes the coaches too much, no chance. If Barruh wasn't there, small chance based on history
DU, CU will never play in the Knapp again, maybe some sort of neutral thing like ISU and Iowa, small chance
WSU, McD dislikes the coaches too much, no chance

One person's opinion.

Can't play WSU - schedule is already too tough. Might play Drake. I see the BCS mentality has taken over. Might play a lower-ranking mid-major going through a coaching change, but "scheduling problems" prohibit a home-and-home with a top-50 type program.

If the game isn't scheduled, it's been offered. If McDermott turns it down, there may be some references to domestic poultry made.

Holy %&*@

It's starting already. Now we are already chicken to play mighty wsu.

Good luck in your game this week.

Thursday at 9:17 if you don't have something else going on.

They probably all scheduled something else. Most Creighton fans are unaware that there is more to the tournament than just the first weekend.

I kid, I kid.

Yet, in the height of your success, some WSU posters are still so obsessed with Creighton that they start threads about FUTURE games with CU.

I honestly wonder how certain WSU posters, who have years upon years upon years of obsession with Creighton are going to cope after we've moved on.

If CU and WSU play in the future, fine. If they don't, no big deal. I don't think any CU fans are going to really care one way or the other. I sincerely doubt there will be any Creighton fans starting threads on Creighton sites opining about not having WSU on the schedule.

Welcome back MIA.

Do the words "I kid" mean anything to you?

Anywho, thanks for posting in a thread that you care little to nothing about. I hope you have a great weekend... again!

Why, hello Lazarus. What rock did you slither out from under?

Season ending a dissappointment? Worried you don't have the juice to mix it up in here?

P.S. This is not he height of our success. See, this is one thing that you have never gotten about WSU. While you have carried on about how this is the best CU season of all time, Wichita State has done something that CU has never done--reach the Sweet 16--and we are still just trying to be as good as we once were.

Thanks for your look into the future Carnac. Now go back under your rock and settle in for another nap.

I for one would enjoy a home and home now and then. I think both teams would benefit, and the series would still be fun. Unlike some of the players Turgeon had recruited, I like most if not all players that triple G recruits. They play hard and are not a bunch of assclowns like I thought of some players in the past (I know we have had our P'A in the past also). Most years it will be a good win and not a bad loss for either team. But, my goodness, if WSU figures out that whole shooting thing like they did against the Zags, Katie bar the door.
