Great game and great season for WSU. I'm really not sure the better team won tonight. Louisville just seemed to get the breaks (and calls) in the last 10 minutes.

I have stayed away out of respect. I have had my run ins with a few wsu posters who are pretty clown like over the years. I have posted some things I'm sure I have regretted, as they probably have as well.

That said, I want to offer my most sincere congrats for an EPIC run this March to HCGGM and the Shox. You guys were a play or 2 away from playing on Monday for the title. Incredible. The Shox played fearlessly with reckless abandon and you could actually see Marshall gain some maturity during this run to go with his acumen as a really, really good coach. Impressive as hell.

Nobody gave the Shox a chance tonight and they really out played the number 1 team in the country on the biggest of stages for all but a 6-8 minute stretch and very easily could have taken them down. Again, just an effing awesome showing, congrats.

The guys who showed up offensively tonight Early, Baker, and Cotton will be back next year. Wow, I'm sure WSU fans will be salivating for the start of the season next year. Hope you guys can pony up a bit of cash for a pay raise for Marshall (dodged a bullet with UCLA as far as I'm concerned mostly because they (UCLA) are clowns and should have put the mad rush on Marshall). Let's see if you can parlay this success into some nice non-con opportunities next year. I'll be following as always. I may be out in left field but Baker reminds me of Korver with obviously much better athleticism. Hope Creighton can get a home and home with you but I figure your phone will be ringing off the hook now.

Much as I wish we would have won that, I'm so proud of this team for getting this far, AND pushing Louisville to the limit. It took one of Louisville's best three point shooting nights of the entire season to beat us.

If Hancock doesn't have the game of his life, we win that game. Nothing to be ashamed of there. What a game, and what a season. Nothing but respect for every single player on this team for what they did this year.

In six years at WSU, Marshall has lead us to a better team every single year. The last few years we've said "this will be the year where we can't surpass last year," and we do it anyway. I don't know how we can beat this year next year ... but I've learned better than to doubt him.

It was really was a great run and something I'll NEVER forget. Truly an AMAZING time. Very proud to be a Shocker tonight. Our program and players are a great bunch that represents the university and city VERY well.

Actually all 3 of their victories over MVC were bad calls. We had a similar jank jump ball call at the end of our game with them in the Bahamas as well.

For what it's worth, I've been told that boosters passed the hat around a few weeks ago and have a $500,000 war chest designed to keep Marshall. A Louisville fan I talked to last night said he would be a fool to leave WSU to go to a school that you can take to the Final Four. You just did that at WSU, why do you need to go?
