I don't know who cares, but Wichita State has clinched the All-Sports trophy with 2nd place finishes in both men's and women's track (and baseball's clinch of second place with a win against Creighton). They'll set a new record, breaking Illinois State's record of 2.47 set in 1996-1997. At worst, they will finish with a 2.3 average, at best 2.23 depending on what happens in baseball next week.
The Shockers finished 3rd or better in 14 of the 15 sports they compete in, with the exception being the softball team, which finished 8th. This the Shockers 19th All-Sports trophy.
