It's a shame Creighton didn't have a better all-around athletic program.

What do they have, like 1 or 2 non-shared regular season titles in basketball in the last decade or two?

Creighton departs the Valley with the most outright titles (8) and most shared titles (11).

And zero success when it actually matters.

Prior to reading this thread, I had no idea that Marshall was such a miserable failure at WSU prior to 2013.

I'm surprised you're still showing your face around here after the very classy tweets you put out regarding a sexual assault investigation regarding a former WSU player.

Actually, I'm not that surprised. It demonstrates just how low you are on the totem pole and how obsessed you are with WSU.

Please tell me baller, what did I tweet that was so unclassy? I retweeted a story from a WICHITA TV STATION (they apparently have it in for you guys too, huh? I mean, it was their story and all...) and added "#smh". Oh, how horrible. In the only other tweet I made about the subject, I simply asked if this scandal could lead Marshall to leave. Horrifying once again, no doubt. (By the way, there were WSU fans asking the EXACT SAME THING on twitter, but I suppose you were only following me so you didn't see them).

Thanks for the follow on Twitter though. And I'm the one obsessed? :D

Pretty sure you had a #watchus tag in there, too.

Nothing classless at all about taking enjoyment from a story about rape charges.

I never took any joy in the story; quite the contrary actually. As a father of two daughters, the story represents one of my greatest fears. It is exactly because it is so concerning, that makes people talk about it.

I didn't realize that every time one mentions something, it means they are taking joy in the subject matter. That's a pretty epic leap and is patently false.

Just because someone reports or comments on the news of the day, it doesn't mean that they are endorsing the news or ridiculing WSU. I can certainly understand why WSU fans might be embarrassed of the news and not want others to talk about it. However, just because someone does just that, it doesn't naturally follow that anyone who discusses that news has a vendetta against WSU. Most people feel that criminal behaviors should be discussed, not swept under the rug, unless, of course, the alleged behaviors were committed by one of our own.

For the record, and to show how the WSU news was not treated any differently than news from other MVC schools, we had a thread about the domestic abuse allegations brought against Bradley's Ruffin when they were made a few years ago too (sorry, but I don't think there was twitter back then).

[I have to admit - I never knew that I had so many Shocker followers on Twitter. It is ironic that people would follow someone on twitter, only to claim that that someone is obsessed with them...]

Because the story I was retweeting said "WSU Final 4 player" and #watchus is the WSU hashtag.
