Tom Cotter gets 9th in the steeple for WSU, barely missing scoring! 8th was Aric Van Halen for Colorado, Alex Van Halen's son

final day of the meet today, and the MVC's last chance to crown an NCAA champion for the 10th straight meet. Just 3 men's competitors for the MVC today. Two time NCAA champion Tim Glover tries to make it a 3 peat in the javelin. WSU's Jon Rizzo also competes in the javelin, while Greggmar Swift from INS runs in the 110 meter hurdle finals also.

the meet is on ESPNU at 4pm today, tune in!

Sadly the MVC's streak of having at least one NCAA track champion has come to an end as Tim Glover ended 2nd in the men's javelin. Jon Rizzo from WSU finished in 13th place.

Greggmar Swift from Indiana State just finished 7th in the men's hurdle finals. The MVC men are all done with competition, team scores after the meet.

Overall not a bad meet for the MVC with three 2nd place finishes and a 3rd. Others scored, but we just didn't have a champion this year on the men's or women's side.
