I apologize for the grammar. I'm really not trying to offend anyone. Ok, some of what I say is set out to annoy some posters but not the majority.

Still doesn't make Marshall the best coach in the country. Or your you know what any bigger or make it so you can make a jump shot.

I want to know how to make a jump shot with my you know what.

If he's this bad now, imagine how bad he's going to be if Bradley actually wins more games than it loses, or avoids Thursday night rendezvouses.

I want to like Bradley too, but this kid hurts my head. He's obviously not all there if he is indeed 29 and his posts are brutally painful to read.

His posts aren't anymore painful to read than those of a certain WSU poster IMO. Or those of a certain Bear fan. Maybe just take him as a type of comedy relief. That's the way I view the other 2.

No need to get down on an entire fanbase or program because of one guy.

The thing is the WSU fans you're referring to at least have had their statements and jargon backed up. Cold looks like a freaking genius right now. Everybody was laughing at him when he was saying WSU was Final Four good, and then it happened.

This Bradley poster has nothing to back up his outlandish statements with. There's no substance at all whatsoever.

At some point, you earn the right to talk like a moron. Bradley hasn't had much room to talk for a while. While we're at it, same with MSU/Casey, minus a Valley title in 2011.

What's the point of being a fan if you don't BELIEVE! And I mean BELIEVE! Especially in the off season.

Every fan of every school that hasn't had much recent success, but sees the possibility for improvement should see and cherish the possibility that their team can make a run for the Valley Championship. They should embrace that hope and feel free to express their opinion to other fans.

During the last years of the Lowery disaster, SIU fans legitimately had no hope. Their only option was to try to embrace failure and try to have some fun by expressing the extent of their imminent failure. SIU fans were good about that and actually rather entertaining in their approach to their problems.

SIU fans still don't have much reason to be optimistic, but their fortunes are on the rise. Bradley fans have a reason to be optimistic. I won't criticize BU fans for making statements or predictions that may be beyond what non-BU fans expect from BU. That's what fans of teams on the rise do.

IlSU fans should be looking at the example of SIU fans during the pre-Hinson days. Ask SIU fans what the loss of a decent team, but the recruitment of a great incoming class did for them. SIU started their dive into the abyss with a recruiting class that some considered to be in the top-20 in the nation. And SIU had a coach with a S16 to his credit.

Yes Cold was correct about the Shox this last year. But being right once out of the many many zany and outlandish statements hes made doesn't make him Nostradamus. And doesn't he predict greatness for the Shox most years? I'd be willing to bet if we took a straw poll of this board as to who is our most outlandish/annoying/aggravating poster - I'll bet he wins and it wouldn't even be close.

Unless I am misinterpreting what you are saying, your logic seems backwards. It sounds like you are saying following a year with high turnover, bringing in a good recruiting class is the start of the abyss for your program. See SIU from a few years ago. Did you mean that Ilst might want to temper their enthusiasm for this year because they are bringing in a lot of new players regardless of how talented they are? I would agree with that statement and I would add that we are nowhere near as highly touted as that SIU class.

The SIU situation demonstrated tht bringing in a great group of recruits doesn't necessarily mean a team will improve. Ever school has had experience with JuCo's and Fr either bombing their first year or coming along a lot more slowly than was expected.

IlSt fans should learn to embrace the abyss. It's likely to be there home sweet home for a year or two.
