If he keeps this up, he should win the Freshman of the Year award going away.

Come on now. Don't be like that. He hasn't done squat so he has nothing to "keep up."

Killing it in practice is one thing...

I'm well aware of what I said. I made the statement and I fully stand by it.

Getting guff from an ISUr fan? Shouldn't you guys be focusing on keeping your players out of trouble or, more importantly, getting them to actually qualify?

What is Milton doing that makes the FOY award his to loose?

He looks like a guy that was recruited to play at Kansas.

Soooo, a major toolbag? A roid-raging thug? You'll have to be more specific.

after last night's hoopfest, Simmons and Brown should be on this list.

Yes that should be my full concentration and should not be able to discuss or comment on ANY other topics on an MVC message board!

Me focusing on that will greatly impact the eligibility of players. I think your comment was funny... I laughed (literally out loud) and posted it... I will make sure and, from now on, only worry about ISU's players staying eligible, on an MVC message board.

I have to agree with Tyler. Anyone that has new comers that look like their best player (Loyola, Ill St, Evansville) is in for a rude awakening in Valley play UNLESS they were a stellar team last year. New guys should come in and look like new guys. Talent, hunger, potential, but third on the depth chart…otherwise chances are that the rest of your team is that bad, not that the newbie is so good.

Not a slap in the face at Loyola or Doyle, it's just a bad sign of overall team strength.

BTW, Doyle, while very good, was an after thought at KU and was really reaching well above his ability to play minutes when he signed with the beakers.

Sorry, but your analysis is off base. I'll leave it at that for now. Conference play will be here soon enough.

Milton Doyle is going to be very good for Loyola right away. He also has the benefit of being a year older than a lot of the Freshman being a 2012 graduate.
