Indiana State's Mascari wins Great Lakes regional meet!

ISU's redshirt sophomore John Mascari becomes the 1st MVC athlete to ever win a cross country regional meet today as he won the Great Lakes regional meet in Madison, WI. Mascari's time of 30:05 was a new course record. He'll now run in the NCAA championship meet next Saturday in Terre Haute.

as a team ISU ran AWFUL, placing 16th, our lowest ever, just a terrible year for ISU cross country, which is normally one of the better teams in the MVC.

In the Midwest region, SIU led all men's team with an 11th place finish, very disappointing finish from the MVC champions today.
