Butler had a mini 8-0 run, two threes and a steal, over a 30 sec period with about 7 minutes to go that was the difference in the game. The Bulldogs his their FTs at the end and UE could not break their lead.

No more Butler going forward as they are ending the series after 119 games.

DJ had 26, but no other help. Our two freshmen guards had 2 points each. Aces shot 37.9% from the floor, and were out rebounded 49-31. Aces won the turnover battle 13-12, but Butler made the shots in the second half that they had to make, and the Aces did not. Butler could have been had today, but the Aces were not the ones to do it. If the Aces offense doesn't get any better than it is right now, and for the last six games, it's going to be a long cold winter.

Mock played a great game today. He is hardly given the ball but managed to score 7 points on only 3 or 4 shot attempts and a few free throws. He had 15 rebounds and a couple blocks. The team is a lot better when he is on the floor.

Same old, same old.

evansville has a high scoring guard and not much else. Have we heard this song before?

By the way, what happened to all of the evansville fans? TheAnswerMan?

Aces need another scorer. Wing started off confident with his shot and hit two 3 pointers and then was benched. When he returned he seemed very timid about shooting the ball even though open. It seems the plan was to forced the ball to Ballentine or Simmons cutting into the lane.Last year Ryan scored from the forward position and the Aces had guards who could shoot the 3 opening up the lane for Ryan. Gibson and Brown do not shoot jumpers and Butler played off them jamming the lane making for very difficult shots for Balletine.

Here. Just slammed at work. Didn't make the game but it sounded like Evansville hasn't executed their offense. As you all know ,the Aces wait till conference to gel so we screw everybody's RPI when they sweep you.
