There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

Thanks for the post and link, Ace Dad.

While Prince Korver cannot do a lot of things on the basketball court, there is one thing that he can do better than anyone else, including Ray Allen. He is a fabulous 3 ball shooter.

I did not think he could make it in the NBA with only a singular talent, but I was dead wrong....again.

I also predicted that Tim Duncan would not make it in the NBA.

If you want me to do some scouting for you, just give me a call.

I am as bad as you when it comes to scouting talent:

I once looked at a 14 year old Eddie Royal and told him to concentrate on being a basketball Point Guard because he would never be big enough to play D1 college football. He is now in the NFL.

I also told Scottie Reynolds that the bullxhit bumps he got away with during AAU games and high school would never work at the college level. Scottie was an All American at Villanova University.

I also told a 13 year old Wayne Simien that he should not get to excited about playing at Kansas University because I did not believe that he would develop well enough to play at Kansas. Yeah. He was an All American at Kansas.

LMAO!

I once saw Perry Ellis at McDonalds. He did not solicit my advice.

That's because your son did not play on the same AAU team as his and you did not share dinner with his parents before and after tournaments ;)

Count me in among those who thought Korver would be, at best, an NBA player who sat on the end of the bench and made the league minimum. Now, I bet the Bulls wish he was still in Chicago.
