Incredible game by FVV. He just keeps getting better.

UNI played tough, but I don't think they're going to win too many games on the strength of 3pt shooting, and WSU happily gave them those shots.

WSU sets another school record with 15 straight wins.

Shockers stretch the lead to 20 before the mop up crew allows 6 straight Panther points to end it, 67-53 final.

Nice game from Mitchell. Some other nice pieces in Cedar Falls as well, but Tuttle needs some help I the paint. WSU was able to contain him without doubling. I always enjoy the Ben Jacobson coached teams. Good luck the rest of the way! I'm sure it will be an exceptionally difficult game when we travel.

Overall, I'm not entirely disappointed.

We played tough and physical, but just missed a ton of shots. I think the announcers said we missed 9 3pt attempts in a row during the first half alone. Turnovers also didn't help us, which isn't atypical for a young team on the road in a hostile environment.

MUCH better effort than our game last year in CKA. I predict a nail-biter in Cedar Falls next month!!!

Shox take it 67-43. Good game from Early and VanVleet, the Panthers shooting woes, combined with the Shockers defense really doomed UNI in the 2nd half. Still a mystery how UNI can look like Larry Bird for a stretch behind the arc and then completely disappear for the rest of the game. They have some very capable shooters but just haven't found the consistency this year that has been a part of the program for past seasons.

I'm hoping things continue to develop for this Panthers team because I think they have a real shot when Wichita comes to Cedar Falls, given how much different these guys look at home and on the road. No one else In the Valley will give UNI that kind of relentless post pressure and offensive lethality so I don't see us taking anymore blowout losses like this one unless we take some injuries.

It's going to be an interesting year to see if anyone can hang with the Shox for a full 40 mins. They are far from perfect but the talent, depth and coaching all make a very, very potent combination that certainly warrants that top 10 ranking they carry.

6 straight points to the Panthers mop up crew. Both teams pulled the starters about the same time.

Tuttle is awful against athletic big men. He gets more shots blocked than any big man in the country (just my assumption). Great game from FVV and Early. The Shocks just ended up wearing us down, and the shots stopped falling. Not unusual for us on the road so far this year. Shocks will be very very tough for anyone in the conference to beat. We will struggle because we don't have much inside presence aside from Tuttle. I like Marvin, but he should not have to play that much nor should he play at the 4. Wes played terrible seemed to press too much. Deon has been the only consistent player this year, and he was very good again.

Lots to improve upon, but we won't have a tougher game in the conference this year so nice to the the roadie at CKA out of the way early.

The post definitely needs some help which is why it's exciting that we're only losing Rank (who isn't really a post player) and get another Koch and a good post player in Klint Carlson. Obviously it'd be nice to have more experience for Tuttle and Mitchell's senior years, but it's better than basically having Tuttle and Buss as our current post options.

I think some of Seth's struggles came from the Shox D but Tuttle looked a bit more indecisive and sluggish today. Don't know if he was a little rattled and was overthinking, trying to make the perfect decisions against such a strong opponent, but he didn't look right. Defense definitely contributed to it but that isn't the first really good D we've seen this year. That being said, as strong of a player as Seth is he is nowhere near Early. I haven't heard a whole lot about Cleanthony since the preseason since most Shocker fans have focused on their outstanding guards but I think Early still has to be the favorite for the POY. He is just so good overall and brings a front court presence to WSU that no one else in the Valley can match.
