Redbird23- STFU, you make us all sound like idiots...

My only point of contention really in this entire thread is- I don't get the "Muller blow by handshake" accusation... I just watched the end of the game on the replay that ESPN3 has up. It shows Greg Marshall starting to walk towards DM with about 8 seconds left in the game. Dan turned and took a couple of steps towards Marshall, who continued at his same, fast pace, shaking Dan's hand, Luke's hand, Dana's hand, Torrey's hand, and then the rest of the team. The handshake was closer to the ISU coaches box then it was to half-court. So who was rushing past who (whom?) I don't see how anyone can say DM blew by Marshall after watching this. I also noticed that Marshall did say "good job or good game" to everyone but Dana (understandable, I suppose).

I would not have a big deal of this at all, until I saw WSU fans talking about it. I had no problem with how either coach handled it.

In regards to the Marshall said the FVV knee injury was intentional discussion. Marshall said "I really like Randy (the ref) but we made it known to him that we saw FVV with the ball and the defender dove at his knees and took him out". I can see both sides of how ISU fans think he was implying something, and where WSU fans just think he was stating a fact of what he thought he saw. "Dove at his knees and took him out" can certainly imply intent... a better choice of words would have probably avoided this debate. Semantics.

It's no wonder a lot of the fans act the same as he does towards ISU. Then he's at it again and implies that we purposefully dove a Van Vleets legs. Really......Can you at least wait to see a replay before making a dumb statement like that. He just panders to the fanbase and tries to add fuel to the fire.

It's a good thing you guys are good, because no one would put up with his classlessness otherwise.

You guys look hella good though despite having a jackwagon coach. Wichita is a really tough place to play a game. You guys are every bit the #6 ranking you are given. Just too bad about that coach thing.

This post is exactly the reason there is such bad blood.

Like most WSU fans, you believe the issue is ENTIRELY on the other side. You refuse to accept that there is any reason for any animosity other than simply the other side being arrogant, classless, etc. Marshall is in every way in the wrong, WSU fans are in every way wrong, Illinois State, Muller, and their fans have done absolutely nothing wrong.

I get that we're all partisan for our teams, but are you truly incapable of seeing the biased view you have on this?

Marshall has handled things wrong in this. Muller has handled things wrong in this. WSU fans and Illinois State fans have all been arrogant and classless at points. Nothing is as one-sided as many of the biased people here would like to cast it as.

This is a refreshing post to see in general. It's one thing to be partisan, it's another thing to be an ignorant, arrogant ass (I'm not making accusations but I think we all know posters that have behaved like this at times). Thank you.

Thank you for posting what Marshall said. I can assure you, if Marshall thought injury was the intent he would've said that injury was the intent. He wouldn't beat around the bush. I assume this will still be another thing held over Marshall's head even though nothing was meant by it. Kind of like ISUr fans who hate Baker because he said he was humble.

Shocker fans need to get over themselves. The arrogance and double standard is off the charts.

Example, some got made because ISU fans were not very concerned when Van Vleet got hurt. Go to the Shocker website and read a few of the comments about Creighton's Gibbs when he got hurt the other night.

And they wonder why other fanbases don't care for them.

Your obsession with WSU, its fans, and its message board is getting borderline unhealthy.

Is it true you signed up as "Shockerhater" and went on a huge tirade?

You have issues. Just like your team. Hope you're enjoying the 0-3 start.

Wasn't surprised that WSU was that good. I'm pulling for you guys to go far and put our MVC in the news. I pulled for you last year and was proud of how far a MVC team got.

I think this pissing match between fans is pretty childish.

Our ISU needs to look at your program as a success and try to follow your lead.

I'm not apologizing for any fans, it's just a message board thing.

Good Luck

Holy crap.

It's the ILLINOIS STATE fans complaining.

What is wrong with you?

Where are all of these accusations at from WSU fans? The first I heard of it was from an IlSU fan claiming Marshall blew by.

It's not unhealthy, laughter is good for your health. Lot of comical reading over there.
I have not registered on your board, so no would be the answer.
While we are having the Q&A, how many identities do you have on these boards? Why so many?
