Did Marty unexpectedly lose a few players who stock rose to the NBA draft? Did a few players have some kind of career ending injuries? This is year 7! Bad planning and recruiting. Constant excuses.
In addition the MVC is weaker this year, traded Creighton for horrid Loyola.

Well, it took a career game from DJ, and some gutty free throw shooting at the end, but the Aces did manage to get a good Valley win, and a great road win. Looks like if you want to beat the Aces, you will have to hold DJ under 33 points. Will have to get some other wins, or this game won't mean that much, other than to say we beat a team that was worse than the Aces. Until proven otherwise, I still think the Aces are a Thursday team.
