Are you talking about Ricardo because he was the one who brought it up as a whine, I just gave the actual numbers w/o complaint at all. Show a little class in winning and don't try to negate the other teams effort by suggesting a foul disparity especially given no evidence of such.

I had the Shox holding them to 2 of 10 from 3pt in the 2nd half and 2 of 13 counting OT.

I will be interested in MSU fans take on Lusk in the 2nd half. Seems he went to more of "prevent mode" than continue to attack like they did in the first half.

Ditto ; not taking away from the Shox turning up the pressure but Lusk went conservative both in style and also stopped using his bench much which unfortunately is where our size and athleticism resides in Gavin/Mvouika/McCullough. But Shox still had to climb over a 19 point deficit so all credit to their poise and toughness.

Thurman seemed to disappear in the second half. Did Lusk not play him much as I have to admit I didn't pay attention enough

After a fabulous 1st half Gavin didn't even see the floor until about 12 minutes were left in the game and then was used briefly a couple times the rest of the way. Lusk really handled the second half rotations poorly in such an intense game, our top guys were gassed the last 5minutes and overtime.

Thought the biggest play of the game was when VanVleet drove on Scheer and got the blocking foul, counting the basket. Instead of up 4 with the ball, now the bears are up 1. Sure looked like a charge to me, as Scheer appeared set, camped out, waiting for it. There are screen shots of it over on Bear Nation to take a look at, but I know that pictures are not as good as a video. What did everyone think of the call?

I'm going to keep it short and sweet and then head to bed to try and forget about it.

We'll done Bears.
WSU proves why they're the team to beat.
I still can't stand Lusk. Bizarre second half from him that cost us in more than one way.

The two biggest reasons WSU won were coaching and depth. For the second year in a row, we just ran out of gas.

Gavin Thurman has got to be the maddest sob on Earth right. The kid is being pulled in every direction and it is not fair to him.

Goodnight everyone.

That's a bit skewed by the Bears intentionally fouling and missing the front end of one-and-ones. But WSU did end with a legit 5 or so foul advantage.

Rule change this year - it's not a charge if you flop, and Scheer was flopping before contact.

Bingo, that was the play of the game. Luckily that call went in the Shockers favor. If that call goes the other way it's ball game Bears.
