There's no shame whatsoever in losing to SDSU anywhere, especially at their place, they have a helluva team this year. Is it just me, or do Ind St fans seem to do a lot of trash talking on threads about other teams??? I can point out 2 of the UE game threads this year already. Doesn't make any difference to me, but I kinda think they should worry more about their team before talking out their azzes about anybody else.

You're allowed to do that when your team is loaded with NBA talent.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but San Diego State is now ranked #10. FWIW, UConn is #4.

Traditional college basketball powers occupy almost all of the top 10 spots in this week's edition of the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll. And then there is San Diego State.

The undefeated Aztecs certainly belong where they are ranked -- No. 10, ahead of their Monday night home game against Cal Poly -- while riding a 10-0 start to the season.

no shame in losing to two top 10 teams i guess.
without that 2 min stretch in the second half things might be looking a little more up in the valley. we were up by 5 in the second half.

I don't know where the ribbing from my fellow tree fans was coming from...it's tough to beat a top ten team at their place no matter who you are...I do think that the only thing holding that team back is the PG play...WSU could very well make their way into the top 25 by the end of this year..

I think it's more on post play than PG play. Murry can run the offense, he can handle trhe ball reasonably well for a PG, and he's more or less maintaining his points average.

Stutz and Durley have both regressed from last year. What was supposed to be the strength became the weakness. Durley is playing the Swiss version of defense (uninvolved observer) and Stutz looks like he's trying to re-enact his Fr year.

Stutz is showing some signs of coming out of his slump (or whatever it is), but Durley is showing signs of wanting to live in a dog house. Ragland is starting to figure out the difference between JuCO and D1 and is evolving as a D1 PG instead of a JuCo PG playing D1.

SDSU only beat Cal Poly-SLO, 51-45 last night.

SDSU was missing 2 starters, one of which is borderline All America.


It would be akin to UNI not having Koch Jr. and Kwazdo, except much worse. I doubt the Panthers would handle Cal Poly under those circumstances, even with their nations best defense and top 5 recruiting classes.

Cal-Poly plays what looks like a pretty tough schedule...they hung with UCLA as well...
