Do you have to be completely out of the box or just a portion of you? It was close but he might've had a foot outside of it. But judging by Curry's no call on that last inbounds play, just having a foot on the line doesn't count as being "out". Pretty weak to call that a technical anyways. I hope Curry never has to ref for Fran McCaffrey...or maybe I do. He'll likely get torn a new one and have to retire. We should make this happen. This is the same man who called the phantom foul on Koch last year on the Odum half-court heave.

In either case, the foul loomed large but UNI's terrible 2nd half display did them in. Defense, offense, you name it besides FT's and the Panthers didn't really do much of it. Too bad because this is easily the 2nd or 3rd best team in the conference and they're doing everything they can on the road to look like another mediocre band of dudes.

Oh please. The entire reason Jacobson was T-ed up was because Tuttle was mobbed in the lane and a guy nearly bear-hugged him. I won't say that the officiating was blatantly in Bradley's favor, because it wasn't. It really didn't lean one way or another but you should never expect a well officiated game from Curry or Steed. I'm glad they allowed for some physical play, but why in the world are you going to be loose on rule enforcement and then call that Technical?

It's not like you were doing UNI a favor and giving them a chance to get fired up. They gave Bradley the 3 straight possessions and 6 points all from a missed call and Eric Curry trying to feel important once again. Jacobson may actually incur some discipline from the league because he was apparently extremely critical of that string of events right there.

One last thing, what's happened to Pickett? This is two games I've seen him this year and he looks very ineffective. Not the same player from last year that I remember. Looks weak on the boards and his offensive game looks non-existent. I really thought he was a talented and promising post player.

It was an interesting game for sure. Walt Lemon looked like the 1st team MVC player he was expected to be, especially in the 2nd half tonight. I'm a Bradley fan, didn't see what Jacobsen did on the T. He definitely must have said something to the ref as he was running by, as Walt was partially looking at a fast break on the play with a 1-on-1 opportunity and play was stopped. That sequence was the turning point in the game for sure as it went from a tie game to Bradley up 8 in like a minute's time. Tuttle seemed to get a lot of calls down low, but reffing was not too bad either way. This was the one call he didn't get.

UNI has had Bradley's number for multiple years now, so good to get a win against them. Let's see if Bradley can continue the momentum and get 3 or 4 in a row now. They definitely could be the "best" of the bottom of the valley since everyone outside of WSU, Ind St, and UNI is pretty much terrible.
