UMKC did receive a visit from the MVC last year when we were deciding who to add, they simply are not ready for the MVC, that's not to say they won't be in the future, but right now they're not ready, lots of work to do there.

Didn't mean you personally recruit UMKC, MVC coulda recruited UMKC. Added, think UMKC has a win against NMSU (RPI 75 ). That probably is a better win than by any MVC school other than WSU.

No, the message board did not have a vote. But sure was a lot of extreme and negative comments about UMKC---which I think MVC office was probably reading. And I am not pushing UMKC for membership now--they are winning some games and hopefully building their resume with a new coach.

You do realize the presidents of the Universities vote on this and not the MVC office?

I would guess Indiana State's win at Notre Dame and UNI's win over VCU are better wins. That is just off the top of my head and there may be more.

And we're back to the only reason KC trolls an MVC forum. UMKC.

TURD. TURD???? Whow! Isn't that a cool word. Isn't Snaggle a cool dude, and so literate. But begs a question--who is Snaggle calling a TURD? UNI or LUC. No matter, either school, its taunting and clearly "antagonistic and adversarial", a trolling violation. RED CARD! RED CARD!

Granted UNI's win over VCU (RPI 35?) was a numerically better win than UMKC's win over NMSU (RPI 75). But have to question INSUb's win over ND--ND RPI today is 85 or so. Sword fighting with numbers is senseless. I will just watch the games!

At the time ISU blue win was marvelous. But ND lost their leading scorer and really hasnt done much except for beating Duke. So by the end of the season unless ND can turn it around the Sycamores win wont look as good as it did back in November.

UMKC moved from a conference with reasonably strong upside (with the Dakotas doing well, Denver coming aboard, Oral Bob coming back).

They moved to a conference (WAC) that was literally on its deathbed and includes several teams (not one, but several) who are only in it because no one else would take them.

I'm guessing our resident UMKC fan is furious about that move. And he should be. But his program forfeits the right to expect even a cursory glance from the MVC for at least 25 years, and not until they get out of the WAC.
