I think the Ramblers' pesky D has a bit to do with that. Nevertheless, Loyola should be in this game. We're also having one of the worst games of the season, and I while the Shox have a lot to do with that, we've also made a lot of silly mistakes and have missed wide-open shots that we should generally make.

For instance:
FG - 29% (we're one of the top 25 FG shooting teams in the country).
FT - 45% (that's atrocious)
3PT - 15 % (lowest of the season!)

I think playing in front of the large crowd and the fact that Shox are the # 3 ranked team in the country may have gotten to some of our young players.

14 points in the second half at the 3:30 mark and a 10 point lead. This will and should cost the Shocks votes.

That almost exact sentence is said by just about everyone we play.

That said, Loyola's playing decent defense, and our team is completely lacking intensity in the second half. This is a game again just because we've done absolutely nothing. 14 second half points with under 4 to play in the game. Nobody for WSU is playing well at this point.

Personally, if the Shocks lose a game (and is probable that they will) I want it being the Trees in the MVC Tourney Final, so two Valley teams that could cause some trouble in the Dance get the opportunity to do so.
