Eye test/ Common game knowledge.

Think about it, how many times have you seen a player slam it off the back iron out to half court?

Missed layups.

Best "source" I could come up with, other than yrs worth of basketball experience.

Just last night in the WSU/LU game, there were at least three missed layups and zero missed dunks. I could probably count on one hand the number of missed dunks by WSU this year.

Is your experience (and talent evaluation prowess) from watching 3rd-graders down at the Y?

Were they "layups" ? That were missed?

A layup in basketball is a two-point shot attempt made by leaping from below, laying the ball up near the basket, and using one hand to bounce it off the backboard and into the basket. The motion and one-handed reach distinguish it from a jump shot.
