If you're putting any player from Indiana State on your 1st/2nd teams it should be Dawon Cummings, not Jake Odum.

Mock is a bizarre pick, as is Pickett. No Ballentine, but Jackson and Carter? Knight is not eligible for 6th man and Buss won't be.

Guess maybe pull FVV for Ballentine but all he did against us in his building was make FT"S

I like this one!

I'd be really surprised to see three WSU players on 1st team.

I can see your reasoning. But again it's bc of jake odum that plays a part of it bc he puts his teammates in positions to score. Jake odum does not look to score. He also has ben dealing with injuries but also seems too passive this year comapred to recent years (freshman he was way better). But what stands out is Odum is still leading in scoring, rebounds, and assists while second in steals for Ind st. As long as that continues he will stay on 1st team I think. I actually the second team will be the hard choice bc there are number of players you can put on it.

I still struggle with the fact that I left R Carter, Doyle, Knight and Mitchell off the second team. Those four are within the same "pool" and could easily replace others that I currently listed.

So I can agree with that from a logic perspective, however I wonder what kind of numbers Baker might put up at Evansville in place of Ballentine, or VanVleet in place of Lemon at Bradley. For that matter, what Wiggins might do if he were at SIU in place of Jackson. If either FVV or RB of WSU don't make first team, I won't feel slighted, but I do feel that Fred, Ron and Cle are three of the 5 or 6 best players in the league. Bias should be noted here, but I really do believe that.

I think Balentine is a real nice player but he wouldn't put up those numbers on any other team and thus his stats have to be discounted a lot.

Baker's been hobbled and probably won't get first team simply becuase he's not putting up the points he would if otherwise fully healthy. FVV and Early should be first team locks. After that, based on the kids I've seen play (not based on stats), I like Mitchell at UNI, Gulley at MSU and Dawon Cummings at ISUb.
