According to ISU senior assistant AD John Sherman. #2 Wichita State @ ISU is not soldout, but ticket sales have been very good

Embarrassing for both ISU and the city of Terre Haute for the game to not be sold out yet.

it won't sell out, our games just don't sell out, no matter who's there. Maybe IU, be I doubt that'd even sell out.

If the weather isn't too bad though, it'll be the largest crowd of the season.

Too many other options for people in Indiana, even in TH

Yea this game is not going to sell out. It looks like there are still PLENTY of seats available for Wed. night.

I have lived in the TH area for 20+ years and there are not that many things to do around here(except maybe meth).....don't make any excuses for our fan base, we will not sell out any games unless we are ranked, its for the MVC title or the Hoosiers are in town.

I was at the game in 2005 when we played IU at the Hulman Center. It was not a sell out. It was REALLY close, but there were empty seats scattered about the upper bowl. Sad if it's not sold out. That being said, the drive over from Indy doesn't sound fun...so I'm really contributing to the problem (not to mention I'd have to cancel the practice I have to run Wednesday night to make it on time...)

The only time ISU has a "sell out" is when a company buys the rest of the tickets. They NEVER have had a "butts in the seats" full house.........even when Larry Bird played. They came close a few times but its only legend lore that they were full every night; never happened.

Why is that? Arena too big or ticket prices too high?

Capacity is a little over 10,500 and ticket prices range from $8-18. There is no reason that we shouldn't sell out every big game we have but it just doesn't happen. According to ticketmaster, it looks like there are at least 2-3k seats left and the new weather forecast is calling for 9+ inches of snow with the possibility of ice. I am willing to say there will be over 3-4k empty seats at gametime. Sad, but true.

Too many options in Terra Haute? Hey! That's our excuse!

Didn't realize it held that many people. Those are affordable tickets as $8 is about what it costs to get into a high school game here. May be too big of an arena with a metro population of 169k. How many season tickets are sold for this season?
