MSU @ SIU, 2/8, 6pm, ESPN3

Discuss the MVC hoops season here.

These two teams played a pretty evenly matched game in Springfield, and since that 6 point loss SIU has won 3 straight, while the Bears have gone 2-1.

The Saluki All-Century team will be in the Arena tonight, and attendance is expected to be the highest of the season, if not in the last couple years.

Should be a great game - GO DAWGS!

Was surprised with the effort and result at Evansville. Need to come out with that same effort and see if we can't further ourselves from Thursday with a 2 game spread. Take a loss here and SIU is right there in the thick of things and we're sitting in the danger zone again.

Points Bears win by is 3

Over/Under on the number of things I throw during game = 6

Number of time my 8 year old daughter tells me to "stop dropping f bombs" = 10+

Should be a great game, sad I don't get to see the All Century Team.

I'll take the Bears since Barry is still coaching SIU.

If SIU wins this, things will be getting very interesting for them.

Should be a good game. I'll take my Bears to win in a close one. Mvouika and Gulley have both been playing great lately. Hopefully they can continue that.

Ruder has been in a mini shooting slump the last 2 games and I'm betting he breaks out of that tonight. Barry was all over his guys in Spfld anytime they gave Ruder an open look.

Not a pretty first half by either team, but SIU leads at half by 2, 29-27. Great crowd tonight from what I can see on ESPN 3; reminds me of the good ol' days!!

Bola has been very good recently but was limited by foul trouble. SIU will need development from the 6-7 freshman in order to compete. Smithpeters and O'Brien are nice looking freshman wings that play the right way. Pendleton is a physical sophomore guard, but Beane has absolutely OWNED this game. He's on quite a role! Future looks bright for Barry and the ugly dawgs.
