Nice of Enevold Jensen to make sure the Shockers came out fired up.

He made some comment to counter WSU's jinx busting attitude about being on the SI cover.... Oh... And getting free refills. Think he was just having some fun. He wasn't aware of the SI jinx.

One thing I was watching for in the net-cutting happened. D.J. Bowles, the guy who died on the court in practice and now can't play, got to cut down his piece of the net.

Do you often watch for dead people?

EDIT after Googling. Guy had a cardiac arrest, didn't actually die.

I was just being a butthole in all honesty. He didn't say anything out of line. Just said that he wasn't going to be scared of WSU. Which he shouldn't, because if you are going to play scared you shouldn't be on the court. Cheers

I thought I read somewhere the he could have been legally pronounced dead; but I'm not doctor and am not good on medical semantics.

Anyone can use any definition they want. Mine is: Not breathing and heart not beating = dead.

Thanks....hadn't heard of anything controversial that Jake said...but, he's also the kind of guy who sometimes says what's on his mind. Good kid, who hopefully will become a good player.

I wish Drake could have given WSU some kind of challenge, but it was obvious in the first few minutes that the Bulldogs did not bring their "A-game". Very impressed with WSU could do without much from Baker or Early.

Really didn't matter that Drake played very poorly (and WSU had something to do with that).....this was a game they weren't going to win even if they were playing great.
