But they didn't. I would submit to you that by winning these games make WSU stronger than having a 20 point blowout.

What is really surprising to me is Tulsa beat Missouri St. by 12. I'm not sure MSU is MVC #2 team.

ISASO, tough to shake mr. smug even for Christmas huh? As my wife says, its all about me. The extra profits have allowed me and others to travel with the team on full size jets to most away games and sit in theatre seats having a waitress get me Jameson and rocks for home games. I like the new coach and the wins will come. Or we could put all of those donations into a baseball stadium with hopes of making it to Omaha. How's that working out for Gene?

Or is it a sign that WSU isn't a clear #1?

Who is now the favorite?

WSU lost to UCONN and at SDSU. Which of these two are terrible? Which of these two would CU, MSU, or UNI win?

WSU has beaten Virginia, LSU, and Tulsa. None all that impressive, all wins were expected. If WSU keeps only winning games they are expected to win then they are the favorite.

Not saying WSU will win all the games they are expected to but on paper they are still the clear cut favorite with MSU right there.

Keep up with the fun little barbs though. It's nice to see special people get involved with things.

I'd say it's wide open. Not quite Drake or Evansville wide open, but no one can take any game for granted this year.

I really couldn't care less about Jameson and your waitress. I go to basketball games like it's a job you love. It's still work, but work you love to do. Besides, how could I hold my Jameson with a pinkie in the air and hold my 2-year-old boy? I wouldn't trade what you hold at games for what I hold at games.

Shocker fans have opportunities to fly with the team on charter jets, big whoop.

Given your inside knowledge of WSU's finances, tell us how much of the donations to the basketball program are funneled to building projects for the baseball program. Please, give us that number.

Tired and bored with the same crap as the old board. I wanted to talk basketball and if you might like your cities new arena, not have to deal with the same old smug shockers. I tried. Way to ruin another board. Done, over, good bye.

Nice win Shockers. Really needed that one at home to keep at large chances alive.

Overall solid nonconference performance, with 2 losses to 2 very good teams. F'ing Kemba Walker kept it from being an big attention grabbing noncon but it is solid.

How was the fancy new joint for basketball? {*edit*- yes this is a serious question for general conversation]

Just curious how the event went away from the Roundhouse? Did old people get lost in the the corners?

Nice face-saving retreat manuever, blue. Were you tired and bored of the old crap while you were posting your little non-basketball diatribe? Or did you suddenly get tired and bored when you realized your comments were called out as BS?

Of course most of us liked the game at the new digs. It was home, but it wasn't "our house" as Iron Wu would say. As I said prior to the game, I'm up for a game or two there every season, for the novelty of it and only if that's what it takes to draw in more quality non-conference opponents who are currently afraid to play at Koch Arena.
