Wichita State @ Bradley

Historically, this is a game that WSU is NOT good in. Last year, the Shox battled a 12-point halftime deficit and threw the game away on a bad inbound pass.

However, I'll place my bets on Wichita State this time around, as the Braves don't seem to have much with Maniscalco and Brown on the bench.

I'll take WSU 70-69 on a buzzer-beating 3-ball from Garrett Stutz.

This is an important game, we need to show we can play on the road. We are a much better team than Bradley and we need to show it. I'll definitely take a 1 point win, but I'd love a blowout and it would give me a bit more confidence in this team.

Considering the depth issues of Bradley we need to run them out of their own gym. This should be a double digit victory and it should never been in doubt.

More minutes for Orukpe.

We ought to open a little side tally for which Valley team allows Orukpe the most minutes. To this point, his minutes are mainly to get him some experience on the floor.

I was expecting BU to be around 5th in the league. It seems that injuries have bit where it hurts the most. That's unfortunate. I'd sooner the Shox played BU with both teams at full strength.

Besides that, I had BU as a winner in the first pick-'em (on ShockerNet) and they lost. So now I must get my revenge vicariously through a big Shocker road win.

As a person who takes these games way too seriously sometimes, I sense there is entirely too much confidence after 1 home game against the preseason cellar dweller.

Yes the Shocks looked VERY good. Yes they appear to be a team that on paper should be favored in 14-15 games in conference. BUT until they can show some consistency away from the Chuck, I shall remain guarded, at a minimum.

They did look good last night.

Why should BU be worried 71?

Not much home court advantage. Actual attendance has been down all year even though they announce tiks sold. Butts in the seats numbers are not good. After the locally telivised Sycamore thumping I expect a poor turn out. Right now stop Warren and you stop the Braves. Double digit home loss coming and that hurts to say and watch. For you Shocker fans keep an eye on BU frosh Walt Lemon Jr. looks good except the last game.
