Ok, my depression is over.

It was only one game.

Hopefully we can bounce back, this game is absolutely vital for the Aces. If we don't win here, I can envision a repeat of last year. Im not in anyway saying this is an easy game, but I AM saying this is a game we absolutely need to win. We have to protect our homecourt, to me that's the first step forward for our program, consistently winning home conference games. Last year we were 2-7 at home in the conference ( :Bam: ), we need to get over .500 at home, that's a MUST. As far as the game, I have to admit, I know very little about ISU. It does sound like Lathan is going to be a tough matchup for us. Is ISU a very athletic team? What's the status of Kelly, is he still injured?

At first I was a bit surprised by this selection. Look at the matchups and this game emerges as possibly the best of the day for a closely played game.

This is also a game that both InSU and UE need to win if they hope to avoid Thursday night in St. Louis, so there is something being played for - even though it's not likely to involve conference leadership.

This is a pretty good selection for a TV game. Should be competitive, both teams have something to play for, and both teams can use the exposrue to help in recruiting.

I disagree. The MVC chose this game because they are being politically correct and not really trying to put their best foot forward to a regional audience. The MVC needed to make sure ISU (B) and EU had their quota of televised games - this way they could kill a bird and a pimp with one stone. Small time thinking by the MVC. Frankly this is the worst choice of any game to be televised.

same game was on FSMW last year too.

Jake Kelly will miss this game for ISU. His foot/ankle injury is worse than expected

ISU's bus had a small fire before leaving town, the team switched buses and are on their way.

Spread appears to have changed over night from Syc's being 1 pt faves to E-ville being 2.5 pt faves. Probably the Kelly news I'm guessing...

Go Syc's!

I'll take UE by 2 here (and I didn't look at the line before I wrote this!). I suspect it will be a long night for ISU's Latham, and that UE will have a mediocre shooting performance.

I disagree. As I understand the TV rules, each MVC team gets to appear at least once. This takes care of that requirement for both teams. Additionally, based on all of the other games on the schedule, this would appear to be the only real toss up game.

Aces win 64-59. A relatively ugly game. Both teams will play on Thursday.
