I read the ISUR fan board and as a fan base, some of them are the biggest bunch of whiners I've ever seen. They don't care about our league at all. They would just as soon other teams lose, so they win (or at least are considered better than the others). Of course, that is because they haven't had any big wins. UNI has some good wins. Loyola has some wins that will help our league. The Shockers have some nice wins. Why can't ISU do it? I still root for them even though they make it hard to do it.

This fan isn't going to apologize for winning. Hawai'i was good enough to beat Pittsburgh and that was before they got the 6'11 kid from Mizzou eligible.

Road wins are road wins.

Laughing hard at the guy that thinks we've got "4 or 5" road losses in us. I think 2 of 21 games last year in the Valley were inside of 10 points. Some of you are acting like WSU is an NIT team.

Another big congrats to Loyola for getting it done! I watched a little of the first half and really liked the ball movement of the Ramblers! Not to be negative in this time of joyous celebration, but the announcer stated that BYU was without their first and second leading scorer. Is that true that this a squad was short-handed? Either way, just keep winning! Really happy for you guys and the MVC!

Every fan base has them. You sure as hell do too.

Stop taking the comments of the minority and making a bigger deal out of it than it is. The vast majority of ISUr fans still root for every other valley team in the non con.

And I've said it already, but to this point in the season, ISUr has the top RPI (warren nolan) win so far. I know it's early and ODU won't be the top win by the end of the season but they're 11 as of right now.

I get that you want to hate on us, but hate because you don't like the coach or think the players are dbags. Hating cuz we don't have a quality win when we have the top (again RPI - and again, as of right now) win thus far is beneath you. I dont even know you but I know you're better than that!

And just for good measure I checked last year too.

ISUr had the 3rd best win last year (again, warren nolan) over Elite 8 participant Dayton. Dayton was ranked at the time and finished the year with a 33 RPI.

The only better wins were from UNI (VCU - 19 RPI) and WSU (St Louis - 24 RPI).

No we haven't been to the tourney for ages, but again, saying we don't help here and there with a quality win just doesn't hold up. We also had a win over RPI 22 Creighton when they were ranked 2 years ago.

So under Muller in his 3 years, our worst RPI has been 133 and we've accounted for some of the top RPI wins in the league. We're heading in the right direction and Dan is scheduling to give our guys the opportunity to provide wins.

I get that there is probably a billion reasons lots of WSU fans don't like us. Check your own message board. How many people consistently rip on ISU and hope we lose? How many comments start with "I know I should want ever valley team to win but when it comes to the Redturds....."

Sometimes it helps to post when you are sober. Sure I've seen the comments on our site about people wanting to see certain teams lose. I am not one of them because that's terrible for the conference. However, most boards have posters who don't understand that as a conference we need to get as many wins as we can get before conference play starts.

And as someone else posted, we have the best win in terms of RPI this year in the league against Old Dominion. We would have the top two had we not choked against VCU at home which I think burns us pretty bad in terms of at large chances. We will have a solid enough RPI going into conference play not to really hurt anyone with a loss and we have a respectable sos in the 30's.

Not sure what else you want. Muller is not Jankovich. He is not afraid to schedule good teams. We almost pulled one off @Louisville last year too. Those guys are ok.

Two great wins last night! That WSU game had an NCAA type atmosphere to it, glad I stayed up and glad WSU snuck out of there with a win! Now beat GWU Thursday!

I was at a Christmas function last night and only saw the final minutes - what an amazing win. When Hawaii had the ball up 3 with a minute to go and the crowd behind them, it would have been easy for WSU to wilt. Instead, Shox pulled it out. Nice job.

Way to go, Loyola! Keep it rollin! Very average non-conference schedule, but to go 10-2 against it while working on building a program makes it work out. Hopefully the schedule improves incrementally and the record against it stays the same over the next couple of years.
