I get that EU loves playing the roll of spoiler and it's often the highlight of their entire season, but do EU fans realize how damaging they've been to the MVC the past five years?

Somebody is salty! :Violin:

Sorry N.I.U. cannot take care of business.

Great win ACES! Rest up for @ISUb.

Really?
...."we'll plummet in the polls".....
Did you post this comment from the locker room, at The FC?
Are you a member of the basketball team at The University of Northern Iowa? If not, then how can you use the word "we'll"?
Must have a mouse in your pocket....
So, you, your mouse and other's in here that always want to lay claim that The ACES, have some how damaged the rep of The VALLEY or the school's team that you support, please get over it.
UNI, will just have to take care of business, in Cedar Falls. Winning at home is important. It's what college athletics are all about.
And for the record.....It's UE...as in The University of Evansville.

I guess the sore loser on here underestimated the Aces. I hope all of the other MVC teams do too.

Check out the tweet from Fran Fraschilla from ESPN......not surprised the Aces won at all.

Way to go Aces. This Aces fan is glad we "Evansville'd" them tonight.

One man's damage is another's growth. That win over UNI in 2010 at Roberts Stadium came at quite possibly an all-time low for UE. Tonight was not that.

Tuttle led UNI with 18, but fouled out. Mock had 12 pts / 13 rebs.

Tuttle is a more savvy (and dirty) post, but Mock dictated play in the paint. I think Mock is the best post in the Valley followed by Tuttle.

Point:
You have to wonder how much NCAA Tourney revenue UE has cost the Valley over the years.

Counter-point:
Going for two, down three with under 5 seconds to go, on the road? What are you thinking? Shaving points or something?

It was weird. UE kept putting players other than Mockevicius on Tuttle. Seemed like Simmons got the call a lot of the time.

Tuttle had more points, Mockevicius had more rebounds. Both modified a bunch of shots down low.

Your team lost, a better team would have won. Also anybody who knows anything about college basketball knows about UE basketball and its history. The fact that you call them EU still after almost 20 years in the conference shows your not part of that group.
Also UE's ability to win big games against supposedly better opponents just shows the quality of the young men in the program to be able to rise to the occasion and overcome the odds to gain victory. That is what college basketball should be all about and they should be commended.
