McDermott had a double-double: 28 points, 10 rebounds.

FOY and NOY candidate Doug McDermott had 28 and 10. How did your guy do?

I wonder when your constant baiting will finally get you placed on super secret probation?

McD is who I was talking about. Thanks for the info and sorry to disappoint you.

I haven't seen all the teams yet, but it certainly appears WSU, MSU and CU are the best 3 teams, perhaps by a wide margin.

4-10 is totally up for grabs imho. ISRU is 0-2, Evansville is horrible, ISUB lost to Evansville, Bradley is so thin it's scary, UNI appears destined to repay all the good karma for the last 2 years this season. Drake is so up and down you have no idea what you are going to get. I am thinking UNI with their D is most likely to finish 4 but who knows.

That is a solid post Wu...after the first two games there's no indication as to who will get those last few Friday spots left if CU, MSU and WSU continue their solid play...could be a fun year to watch (or not so fun if your team continues to suck). Even at 0-2, I think ISUred can be that #4 team...when watching them the other day they seem like the type of team that was still figuring things out but there's definitely some talent/athleticism/length on that team. Not sure about ISUblue now that Kelly is a ? healthwise...yesterdays game vs E-ville was a surprise to me though...I thought they'd win that one for sure. I don't know enough about the other teams to comment...Drake did not impress yesterday but they shot the ball poorly, not sure if that was a good indicator game for them.

UNI is two buzzer beaters from being 2-0. One of those was to MSU. And UNI (probably) had a better non-conf season than both CU and MSU.

To say "by a wide margin", is a huge stretch.

How bout no way UNI finishes in top 3 this year by a small margin. Does that make you feel better?

I agree. While it will be hard for UNI to win a title after starting at 0-2, I do think they will have a lot to say as to actually does win it.

When comparing the undefeated teams, WSU and CU have had the easier schedules. MSU won at UNI which puts them at the top IMO.

Agreed that UNI is good.

However, my 18-16 Jays last year found wonderfully creative ways to lose close games time and again. Losing close games is a bad sign about toughness, physical but especially mental. That mentally weak CU team could have won 5 more games but.......
