Congrats to both ISUs, UNI, and especially LUC on their wins tonight. Two tough games for UE this week with an OT loss and a loss by one.

Go Shockers!

Gotta be impressed with Loyola this year.

Gonna be a lot less Evansville fans on here demanding respect after this last week.

Is losing to Loyola really that bad? They are clearly the #3/4 team in the Valley until ISUr proves they've just been trolling us for the first 2 months of the season.

Also my apologies to the Sycs but 3-0 doesn't cover up that black eye of a non-conference. They might avoid Thursday but they aren't a top 4 team based on what I've seen.
[Insert snappy comeback]

Actually .1 second, and it wasn't a put back but a wide open layup after UE allowed Loyola to score 4 points on 1 trip down the floor in the last minute. UE will never be a winner with Simmons as coach, he doesn't know how to win so how do you expect his players to know how. Looks like the CBI again this year.

terrible non conference for Indiana State, too many new players and no Jake Odum, who had run the show for 4 straight years, took some time to adjust, but they seem to have meshed now.

Side note:

After being left at home for the the Drake roadie due to lack of effort, 6-7, 260 lb freshman Shaq Morris scored 9 against ISU and followed it up with 10 and 7 tonight.

Nobody has really considered Loyola a 3-4 team until tonight. We were getting some props for being a 5th place team behind Evansville and ISUr, but not many considered us a 3 or 4. Coming from 8 down (actually 7 down before a Doyle 2 was changed to a 3) at Evansville with nobody taller than 6'6" (Montel James was out with an ankle) proves the Ramblers are for real.

SIU is bad.

Real bad.

I haven't seen so many air balls, or shots hit only the backboard, since i watched my nieces middle school basketball game about 4 years ago.

It really is nothing except a D3 team in D1 uniforms.

Congrats to Loyola on the huge road win. What an unexpectedly excellent season they are having.
