Loyola has some players, and you can tell they're a decent team. When WSU plays up to their potential (something they haven't done in a while now), they are pretty good.

Solid 14 point road win over a Top 50 team.

Still a little early to be writing off WSU yet.

WSU is far from perfect, but they are getting better, especially in the post. Granted, Loyola isn't a huge team, but overall I like what I am seeing from the bigs. Just got to keep on improving and building depth. Freshmen always look like freshmen on the road, so I didn't expect much from the bench anyway today.

Plus Loyola is a good team. They get in passing lanes well. You can definately see they have some nice pieces. I like their trend line thus far.

I think this could be a recurrent theme in the Shockers Valley games this year. Teams get up for the Shockers and it's close for a half but the other Valley team can't sustain that level of play and fall in the 2nd half. The UNI / Shockers game(s) could be very competitive though.
