He looked like a begging douche at the end of the game too. Typical.

Sorry Redbird fans. Karma hates you.

Right cuz Muller was the one who missed open 3s and layups and free throws that would've won the game.

That game was lost long before the last minute or two.

Muller's complete lack of ability ti take adjustments or basic understanding of how to attack a zone is mind bottling. Seriously, how do you become a D1 coach and not have any understanding of how to attack a 3-2? Even if not practiced there has to be adjustments stored to put in place.

Weren't able to get it in the middle cuz of Morgan but still ended up getting some open looks Knight, Purcell, and Lee all miss open looks. Reggie tries an off balance reverse dunk instead of an open reverse layup. Had looks off of the zone players just didn't hit the shots. Should have been more prepared I guess with a play or two for it. Had our zone alley oop play open to Purcell pass was just a tad high so he couldn't throw it down either, that was a nice call by Muller just didn't execute. Make just one more play and we win.

Those are all on the fly plays made by the players. It was plain as day Muller has no idea what he was doing. The reason ISU surged ahead was the talent (obvious jokes aside) and play making ability of the guards. X and O wise Jake made Muller look like the middle school girls coach he seems to be.

I've yet to watch an ISU game and be impressed with Muller. Maybe he should focus on learning to coach a system more than worrying about who gets votes where. Maybe he should coach his players to try to score on a last second lay up attempt rather than trying to fake a foul. A good lay up attempt probably goes in there rather than one where the guy jumps as hard as he can horizontally to directly under the hoop and whipping the ball at the under side of the rim. It's clear he wasn't trying to score on that lay up. He was crying for a foul before he let the ball go

A good win for the Panthers.

I am very, very excited for next weekend's matchup in Cedar Falls. It will be great having both teams in the top 20 at tipoff.

It's amazing that you can outshoot an opponent by 22 attempts and still lose by 1. But that's what UNI's D does. Of course credit to the Redbirds rebounding and aggressive D (which led to many poor turnovers by the Panthers) for giving them that advantage.
[Insert snappy comeback]

ISUr's a very talented team. I actually don't even mind the comment that they're the most athletic team -- they very well might be. Lot of athletic ability over there -- not completely sold on the BB IQ aspect yet, or the coaching, but without a doubt tons of ability.

If the team can keep progressing, they're going to be extremely good the next two years with experience on their side.

It's hilarious watching their team flop left and right while their fanbase yells about Baker, who I don't think has flopped in his life, though.

On point.

Not a high-IQ fanbase either.

Nice win Panthers, clutch 3 by Buss! The Birds had exactly who I'd want at the line with a chance to ice the game and he missed the front end...oh well, better now than in the MVC tourney. ON the plus side, this should mean short lines to get a hot dog at half time at Redbird Arena on Wednesday.
