UE @ UNI

UE(1-1) coming off a win at home will go on the road to play UNI(0-2), who has lost two close games. A win on the road would be big for UE. They need to find one or two road wins. I'm thinking this could be one that comes down to the wire which means anything can happen. UNI isn't a team that wins by a wide margin. If UE can shoot the ball well, I like our chances. Will UNI continue a slide or will they come out to prove something?

I guess when you play games in the 50s anything is possible. UNI is simply better at every position, even the center position. They are also better coached (by a mile) and are playing at home. They aren't going 0-3 in the conference.

UNI isn't proving anything either by beating UE at home.

I have to agree that UNI will not go 0-3 to start. They are too good a team to lose this one at home. However, I do wish UE would have one of those good shooting nights that we are capable of having and push them into the basement further. It's possible, but not very likely.

The early odds posted on Vegas Insider have UNI -13. So much for the hopey dopey thing.

What does UE prove if they beat UNI?

Sure would be nice if UE could get a PG. Kaylon Williams had triple double tonight against Butler. 10/10/10 only 1 TO.

I'm surprised how many UE fans think they can keep it close in Cedar Falls, even to the point of actually winning there. Apparently a few of these fans have short term memories (i.e. Valley opener).

UNI plays close games, win or lose. I think we should win this game, but I would not be shocked to see a single digit margin.
