UNI holds a 26-24 series lead on WSU now. Not bad considering WSU is gods gift to basketball and UNI is a directional D2 teachers college

...AND you just can't seem to get out of your own way. Enjoy the fact you dominated and owned the pre-season pick to win this conference yesterday. Enjoy the fact it is not a stretch to think UNI could win this conference. But good grief, there are enough douches on this board...don't add to it.

And a majority of the douches seem to be Wichita trash. Rest of the conference can be civil towards each other.

ISUBirds89. I think it would be best to stay out of this one as it causes more harm than good.

If the lowering of the shoulder is honestly a point of contention then perhaps some people need to take a look at every basketball game played from Junior high to the NBA. I took some advice and rematched yesterday's game. On the limited times that WSU fed the post you see the shoulder creating separation. It doesn't look illegal, it looks like basketball. I've never known that to be an illegal play because I've never seen it called as a foul unless it's over the top and dangerous.

Also I've always wondered which poster on this board is ShockFever. I have my guesses but they do seem to be a bit more behaved than they are on ShockerNet. Carry on.

In my opinion, flopping for Ron Baker isn't the correct term. It's the monitor reviews and because of that he ends up getting lumped in as a flopper.

Against ISUr this year, there was a play in the first half where Tony Wills drove in from the left wing with Ron guarding him on his left. I believe tony made a floater and baker grabbed near his throat. He motioned towards Marshall and Marshall asked for a review. Upon review there was no contact near the throat and no foul was given.

It's these items, in my opinion, that have given him that stereotype in ISUr minds. I know Marshall teaches his guys to let him know if they feel they got hit above the shoulders. If they truly did, I have no problem with asking for a review unless it comes within a normal basketball move.

During halftime of the Mich/Mich St. game Doug Gottlieb used yesterday's result to disparage WSU rather than promote UNI. Frustrating. I sure as hell hope the MVC teams do some damage in the NCAA tourney.

Yes, Baker gets more monitor reviews than anyone. The throat injury was not a foul as the monitor review clearly showed it was a basketball motion. It also showed he clearly got hit in the throat.

What an asshole that should be banned from playing

Everyone doesn't do it. No one said he should be banned.

Make no mistake, Fever isn't anyone you might be thinking of. I doubt he is posting under any anonymous name. He isn't capable of holding back and behaving with some of the posters around here. Just for the sake of clarification, I am not Fev. In fact he and I have gone head to head a few times on SN.
