Yes. My favorite Gary Rima-ism for Wes is something like, "Wes just popped up out of the toaster for another rebound!"SHOXMVC wrote:No issue on the dunk. What ups for a small.

For whoever said Wes flopped after being hit by Baker, you have to take a good look at those two. I just checked and I see that Wes is listed at 175, but somehow, I doubt that. I thought it was a charge.
Surely, I have no bias. To prove that, if you want to see a flop - and a really good one - check out Wes's fall against Iowa. I don't know if it's still on ESPN.

I really like the kid.
I have been the target of a couple of UNI posters that can't seem to grasp the reputation of UNI being the flop school. There really isn't a argument to the contrary. Just ask fans in general at the other nine member institutions. Having said that, I didn't think Wes flopped at all during the game that I saw. He doesn't have to because he has the talent to play defense the way it should be played.
To be fair, flops do exist. When an offensive foul occurs, the moment of impact should be what causes the defensive player to accelerate backwards. If you watch it slo-mo and it goes: Impact...nothing...player flies backward to the floor, then it is a flop. If you watch this, you'll see some hilarious examples.UNIFanSince1983 wrote:I don't understand why it is called a flop when someone gets in the correct position and takes a charge.
