February 3rd-4th games

moving along now...

Tuesday

6:05pm - UNI @ Indiana State - no TV - will UNI have a letdown game after the big win over WSU? Can the Sycamores rebound from a poor performance against Bradley (but a win) and score a major win in their bid to secure a top 3 seed? Keys for ISU will be defending the 3 and keeping Tuttle under wraps.

7:00pm - Evansville @ Illinois State - ESPN3 - HUGE game for seeding purposes. Both teams still with a shot at a top 3 seed. Edge to Illinois State at home in this one.

Wednesday

7pm - WSU @ Bradley - ESPN3 - don't see WSU having any trouble winning this one.

7:05pm - SIU @ Drake - no TV - advantage Drake, Bulldogs get that 4th MVC win and move another game closer to 6th place

8pm - Loyola @ MSU - ESPN3 - Advantage MSU at home and with Doyle out for Loyola it may be a long night. MSU picks up its' 4th MVC win.

I just noticed UE is playing on four straight Tuesdays ... vs. INSU (1/27, W), @ILSU, vs. MSU, vs. DU :huh:

(and before anyone asks: our hockey team doesn't have a home game on Wednesday until the week of Arch Madness... so not a schedule thing here, either)

So I just realized after looking at twitter this morning that our game was tonight and not tomorrow night.

I was already really nervous about this game since ISUb played us pretty tough the first time, and we struggle in the Hulman Center. Then I realized once I got to work that we played today, and I was not wearing my usual gameday attire (yeah I'm slightly superstitious). I am super worried now about the let down game against a very good Indiana State team who has the players to give us trouble inside like Kitchell and Gant.

Perhaps, at lunch you may want to dash home and get that game day shirt?
The ACES need for TREES to lose, tonite coupled with a few more down the stretch, to lock UE into that #3 seed, in St Louis.
