Now THIS we can agree on. Their offense for 8 years has been running a pure shooter through 15 illegal screens. WSU started winning more often when they quit trying to go around the illegal screens and started going through them.

UNI did this the other night and Jeremy Morgan absolutely laid Wing out to the point it took him about 90 seconds to get off the floor. The entire team was very aggressive going into the screeners to draw that contact and it seemed to work in a couple ways. I think they had more illegal screens called that game than any other game I've watched and with "making them pay" for moving into the screen they were less likely to make it "took illegal".

Jake and one official got into a face to face screaming match over one screen where either Morgan or Jesperson was thrown to the ground leading to a wide open jumper in the first half. It got ugly there for a bit between the two. Oddly enoough, I think it was the next possession (or two) later that Morgan ran through Wing like Ray Lewis through a slot WR crossing the middle.

And there's the hypocrisy. Evansville is "assaulty" because they cheated and were too rough with Tuttle and the refs let them do it, but Tuttle apparently is not "chicken-wingy" because he cheated and repeatedly hooked players in the post and the refs let him do it.

You can, in fact, have it both ways. But you will be a hypocrite.

If I was complaining about the defense it would be hypocritical...i wasn't complaining.

I love watching the phrase only you have ever used and apologized multiple times for just because part of accepted lore as something that "WSU fans say."
