Thanks for your expert analysis, DoubleJay, we've been anxiously awaiting your take so that we may move on with our program. None of us could find anything wrong. It's been well-documented (right?) that WSU is a poorly disciplined team. MSU scores one bucket in the final 10:30 of the game. I mean, that tells you right there that the team doesn't have the discipline to play defense, rebound and erase a 13-point deficit.
The team is shooting upwards of 80% from the free throw line this season. Just horrbily embarrassing.
I don't mean to diminsh your expert analysis DoubleJay, but here are a few facts from the game:
In the final 8 minutes, WSU shot 5/6 from the FT line, MSU shot 3/6.
For the entire game, WSU shot 52.6% from the line, MSU shot 53.8%
A 1.2% difference. Clearly, based on FT shooting MSU is clearly the more disciplined team. The facts show that, right?
Would you recommend firing the coach now? Is Rick Johnson available?
