Just curious if you ever credit your sources, Aargh.

He never touched the ball, so it's out of bounds off VanVleet. Never mind that he had a foot on the arc before contact was made, while he was the secondary defender.;

This is a foul. Brown went straight up, kept his arm straight up, and got all ball. This was about 10 seconds after the previous "not a foul". Gotta love that "home cookin'" that kept Mock in the game and produced a 4-point swing in facvor of UE in a period of 10 seconds.

Look at Higgins in video #1. How in the hell could he miss the call? Higgins is one of the sainted referees in college basketball.

They could not say which schools but it kind of said it was school close too Evansville. Not sure if they meant IU or Louisville. :bounce:

We would get schlonged by either Indiana or Louisville.

That is not the point. it sounds like they did try to up the quality of Non Con teams. Besides depending on where I this this year we might just take IU. We would have problems scheduling Purdue because they don't like to play us because we kept beating them.

Talent kills us and IU does have talent, coaching is another subject. Also, they don't let up and neither does Louisville.

If you believe Marty and staff tried to schedule IU, Purdue, or Louisville... I got a nice, ocean-front mansion off the Lloyd Expressway to sell you.

I am disappointed in the new AD that he allowed this non-con schedule to be put together under his watch. I should have known it would turn out this way when UE started selling tickets last year with the slogan "5th Postseason of Marty's Tenure."

Looking at next year's MTE, I'm expecting a repeat.

Aces AD Mark Spencer was recently interviewed on a Kentucky (Cats Talk) radio show:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/catstalk/2 ... encer-more

His portion of the show starts around the 58:00 mark and lasts around 30 minutes.

Towards the end of his session he touches on Aces basketball scheduling and how difficult it is for a program like UE to schedule teams like UK, Louisville and Indiana - even for just a single away game at their place. He did mention that the UK folks (Cal) were somewhat open to the possibility of the Aces playing at Rupp someday. The hosts then jumped on the bandwagon that they'd like to see UE play the Wildcats and would start promoting the idea. According to Mark there isn't much interest on the part of IU in playing another game anytime soon with UE, irrespective of location.

I find it hard to believe nobody was willing to play us on their home floor.

Yeah I wonder how aggressive Mark Spencer got in negotiations. When he says "nobody" will schedule with us, I bet he is leaving off an asterisk that says "for a one and one". We need to start negotiating 2 away 1 home, 2 away 0 home. Hell 3 away 1 home to really play some awesome teams.

All this of course in my opinion.

During the interview he stated UE would be willing to play away games against any of IU, Louisville or Kentucky with no return game necessary at Evansville. UK was the only one even remotely interested.

He sounds like someone trying to justify the schedule. It seems like AD speak to me.
